Anna Mavroleon holds a degree in Sociology and a PhD in Communication, Media and Culture from Panteion University.

She teaches in the postgraduate programme “Greek and World Theatre: Drama, Performance, Education” at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Her academic and research interests focus on the methodology of theatre research, the reception of ancient drama, the history of Modern Greek theatre and playwriting.

Centre for the Study and Research of Greek Theatre – Theatre Museum .

This experience is closely connected with her research interest in theatre research methodology and the use of theatrical archives.
