Anna Mavroleon holds a BA in Sociology (Panteion University, Athens) and a PhD in Communication, Mass Media and Culture
(Panteion University, Athens). She is currently teaching “Reception Issues of Ancient Greek Drama” (Postgraduate Programme) at the
Department of Theatre Studies, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
She has also taught “History of the theatre” at the Department of Communication, Media and Culture of Panteion University (2004 & 2008-2009), “Reception Issues of Ancient Greek Drama”, “Methodology of Research” and “History of the theatre” at the Department
of Theatre Studies, University of Peloponnesus (2007-2020), “Reception Issues” at the Department of Theatre Studies, University of Peloponnesus (Postgraduate Programme 2018-2022), “Methodology of Research” at the Department of Theatre Studies,
National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2017-2018) and “Ancient Theatre” (2017-2020) and “Theatre Writing“ (Postgraduate Programme 2020-2023) at the Hellenic Open University. Furthermore, she had worked in the Processing of Archives
Department of the Hellenic Centre of Theatrical Research – Theatrical Museum (1995-2012).
