CAREER PROSPECTS

Graduates of the MA Programme acquire qualifications that enable them to work in a wide range of professional fields, depending on their specialization. In particular, they may:

  • Teach Drama Education or related subjects in public or private schools, provided they meet the formal requirements and are registered with the relevant ASEP list (e.g., PE91).

  • Design and implement theatre education programmes in schools, cultural institutions, NGOs, and social structures.

  • Participate in research and artistic projects, both in theoretical and practical aspects of the performing arts.

  • Work in theatre translation, in collaboration with publishers, production companies, and theatre festivals.

  • Be involved in playwriting, editing, and dramaturgical analysis, as well as documentation and curating of theatrical performances.

  • Work in cultural organizations and institutions, undertaking responsibilities in artistic direction, programming, educational outreach, or documentation.

  • Contribute to lifelong learning programmes and adult education initiatives related to theatre and cultural education.

The programme also offers a solid foundation for further academic development, including doctoral studies and participation in research groups or academic networks.
