Students of the MA Programme pay tuition fees on a semester basis, according to the current study regulations.

Exemptions

Students who meet the economic or social criteria and the conditions of academic excellence may apply for tuition exemption under current legislation.

In specific family cases, a reduction of tuition fees may be granted in accordance with the programme rules.

Tuition Fees

Amount
For participation in the MA “Greek and World Theatre: Drama, Performance, Education”, postgraduate students pay a tuition fee of 700 euros per semester.
Payment schedule
The tuition fee is paid at the beginning of each semester.

Tuition Fees Exemption

Scope of exemption
The exemption applies to participation in only one Postgraduate Programme.
Maximum number of exemptions
Exempt students may not exceed thirty percent (30%) of the total number of students admitted to the Postgraduate Programme per academic year.
When to apply
The application for tuition exemption is submitted after the completion of the student selection process for the Postgraduate Programme.
Selection process
The financial status of candidates is not taken into account during the admission and selection process.
Who is not eligible
Students supported by a scholarship from another source and non-EU students are not entitled to exemption.
Competent body
The Assembly of the Department is responsible for examining the exemption criteria and issuing a reasoned decision on the acceptance or rejection of the application.
Age criterion
If current legislation sets an age criterion, it is recommended, for reasons of good administration and equality, that the student’s date of birth be considered as the 31st of December of the year of birth.

Special Exemption and Fee Reduction Cases

Supernumerary staff members
Faculty members of the categories Special Teaching Staff, Special Laboratory and Teaching Staff, and Special Technical and Teaching Staff, who are admitted as supernumerary students according to the Study Regulation, are exempt from paying tuition fees.
Family reduction
In cases where family members up to the second degree of kinship by blood or marriage attend the same Postgraduate Programme of the Institution at the same time, there is the possibility of a 50% reduction in tuition fees.
