He completed his undergraduate studies at the Department of Primary Education of the University of Athens. He obtained a Master’s degree (MEd) in Special Education from the University of Manchester and earned his PhD from the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His dissertation, which was awarded by the Hellenic Psychological Society, focused on the use of self-management techniques for teaching social skills to preschool children with autism included in mainstream education.

He worked for 20 years in Special Education as a Special Education teacher, primarily with students on the autism spectrum in Special Education School Units, and as a member of the Centers for Differential Diagnosis, Evaluation and Support (KEDDY) of the Ministry of Education.

He currently serves as Laboratory Teaching Staff at the Department of Secondary Education, where he teaches courses such as: Behavior Analysis, Special Education, School Inclusion, Developmental Disorders, and Experimental Methodology at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He is also the Research Project Coordinator at the Laboratory of Special Education and Family Counseling within the same department.

He has published his work in Greek and international journals and books, and has presented at numerous national and international conferences. His research focuses on Autism Spectrum Disorder, with an emphasis on promoting autonomy, social skills, and school inclusion.
